This consistent high approval reflects a strong mandate for PM Modi, who commenced his third consecutive term as India’s Prime Minister in May 2024. The Morning Consult Global Leader Approval Tracker has consistently shown PM Modi leading the charts, a trend that has continued since 2021, with ratings generally fluctuating between 70% and 78%.

South Korean President Lee Jae-myung (59%) ranked second

In this annual rating, American President Donald Trump ranked eighth with a 44 percent annual rating. This survey was conducted in the first fortnight of July. After Modi, South Korean President Lee Jae-myung (59%) ranked second, and Argentina’s Javier Milei (57%) ranked third.
